The OCPC is a non-profit organization that administers Smart Start funding for Onslow County. CCR&R is a funded program that operates within the OCPC. The Onslow County Partnership for Children (OCPC) is seeking a full-time Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) Coordinator. The OCPC is a non-profit organization that administers Smart Start funding for Onslow County. CCR&R is a funded program that operates within the OCPC. The purpose of CCR&R is to promote and advocate for high quality child care that is accessible to families. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: the coordination of the Quality Enhancement (QE) and Quality Maintenance (QM) programs, including the supervision of employees assigned to QE and QM; the coordination of community based trainings in Onslow County for child care providers; short term planning, to insure that services for child care providers are delivered equitably in the community; and long term planning, to anticipate future needs of services for child care providers. 

The CCR&R Coordinator should have knowledge of business administration and non-profit management. A Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Human Services or related field is required plus a minimum of three to five year’s related experience, however a Master’s Degree is preferred. Proficiency in budgeting, public relations, staff management, grant writing, and utilization of community resources is helpful.
